U8300 is a wireless module which is designed for the global market. It is a consumptive product; it can be designed in many kinds of applications which can work on FDD-LTE/TDD-LTE/TD-SCDMA/EDGE/GPRS/GSM network.
U8300 support the Bands as the following:
Tri-Band TDD-LTE: Band38/39/40;
Single-Band FDD-LTE: Band7;
Tri-Band TD-SCDMA: Band34/39/40;
Dual-Band EDGE/GPRS/GSM: GSM900/DCS1800.
On FDD_LTE network in the world, U8300 enables connect to the Internet at data speed up to 100Mbps(DL)/50Mbps(UL). On TDD_LTE network in the world, U8300 enables connect to the Internet at data speed up to 61Mbps(DL)/18Mbps(UL). In areas where LTE service is not available, U8300 still enables reliable and secure data connections over TD-SCDMA at speed up to 4.2Mbps(DL)/2.2Mbps(UL) or EDGE at speed up to 237Kbps or GPRS at speed up to 85.6Kbps.
U8300 provides SMS, Phonebook functions as well as high speed access. It can be designed in many kinds of applications. Such as Data card, Video monitor, Tablet, Electric-book, , Vehicle equipment, etc.
U8300 integrates the RF and Baseband onto one small PCB. It can fulfill all the functions of RF signal receiving and transmitting, Baseband signal processing and audio signal processing so that the customers can realize all kinds of their own wireless products with very few peripheral components.
Designed on a Dual-side PCB, U8300 has a tiny dimension of 51.0×30.0×4.6mm, with a Mini PCI-E connector, which provides all hardware interfaces between the module and customers’ boards. The main hardware interfaces of U8300 consist of power supply interfaces, USB interface, UART interfaces, USIM/SIM interface, VRTC interface and GPIO. Consider connecting antenna, U8300 support plug-in RF connector and antenna PAD.
U8300 not only supports standard AT (Complied with Hayes 3GPP TS 27.007 and 27.005), but also support Longsung extended AT commands, which are very suited for developing all kinds of the customized applications.
